Axl

Let’s be honest, no true GnR tribute can be done with out it’s Axl. Richard has performed as Axl in two GnR tributes over the last two decades initially in Dust N Bones, and for the last five with Lies N Roses. When Dust N Bones ended Richard was ready to call it a day with Music but friendship brought him back to the stage to snake dance and croon out your favorite GnR tunes with Lies. Richard has such an uncanny resemblance of Mr Rose, along with the swagger and attitude to back it up, stranger than fiction Richard delivers the very best of Axl from GnR’s Heyday.

Slash

Rob is the glue, after successful outings in other cover bands his heart was still there to do a GnR tribute. One night while having a few beers with Richard the two decided to embark on a mission to create the ultimate tribute to GnR, a vision was born and has continued to evolve ever since. Bringing to life Slash in Lies, Robs style of playing fits perfectly with out overtaking the music its a careful balance of showmanship, skills, and tasty licks. A true tribute to his hero Slash.

Duff

Greg is our Duff, another great san diego talent that has fronted bands since the 90’s with amazing vocals, stage precense, gregs style of playing brings our duff to life with a power & thunder that the real McKaggan would be proud of.

Izzy

Jim brings Izzy to life Izzy with a crazy passion of rhythms, finger picking, flamenco guitar, he really is a secret weapon in the band. Gentleman, modest, calm of the storm in the band, Jim brings a style and flavor that does Izzy Stradlin more than justice.

Adler

Slynkee is such an amazing human being and drummer, DJ Slynkee from MTV back in the early 2000’s. He brings his east coast style and attitude to his playing, his life is consumed by sounds, technique, how to make the band, and the song. Watching him play for a minute, and its easy to see how Slykee has forced Lies into the beast that it is today. With an ear for sonic bombasticness, Slynkee makes sure these songs are hit at a whole other level while maintaining the integrity of what Steve Adler laid the foundation for, and what power house Matt Sorum delivered in the illusions. Its no wonder Slykee was Dave Navaros drummer for so many years for his solo work.
